Second Chance Hiring
We provide training, education, case management, and supports for individuals involved with the criminal justice system, providing them with the tools for success in re-entry.
SEIWIB provides the opportunity to earn a high school diploma, as well as industry-recognized credentials within correctional facilities within the region. This includes working with women in the Madison Correctional facility to provide skills training in welding and business administration in collaboration with Televerde.
Since 2018, SEIWIB and its partners have worked collaboratively to build the Regional Substance Abuse Recovery System and has expanded that work, with River Valley Resources, to provide more training and employment services to justice involved populations. SEIWIB has garnered significant employer commitment to second chance hiring and has a visionary team of training and community partners to implement creative and flexible workforce development solutions to the area.
